BBTS 2026 Annual Conference Registration 

Thank you for your interest in registering to attend the BBTS 2026 Annual Conference, taking place at the Scottish Event Campus (SEC) Glasgow on 15 - 17 September 2026. 

If you're a NHSBT funded delegate, please ensure you have your valid Purchase Order document before registering. For information on what a Purchase Order is, please see here.

Please read the text below carefully, as it contains important information to assist your registration:

If you have submitted an abstract prior to registering, please use the same login details. Otherwise, please create a new account below. Your login details will differ from those used for BBTS conferences in previous years. If you do not complete your registration, your account will be stored for 24 hours, after which you will need to re-create your account.

The deadline to register and pay via invoice payment is Friday 14 August 2026. Only credit or debit card payments will be accepted after this point. If you would like to pay via invoice/bank transfer, you must have a valid purchase order raised in advance of registering. Please ensure that have you purchase order document to hand, as you will be required to upload it to proceed with your registration. You will also require your BBTS Membership number to take advantage of our reduced rates for BBTS Members.

Delegates need to book their accommodation separately, as this is not included in the registration fee. A link to book local accommodation options can be found in your confirmation email following registration and also on the conference website:

Accommodation

BBTS is pleased to provide up to 3 nights of complimentary accommodation for your stay during the conference. We have rooms reserved in both the Crowne Plaza Glasgow and Courtyard by Marriott SEC Glasgow. Please book the accommodation you require below. If you choose to book accommodation below, we will confirm which hotel you have been allocated to ahead of the conference.

Please note, if you need to cancel or amend your accommodation, you must inform us before Monday 10 August 2026. If you fail to provide adequate notice for the cancellation of your accommodation, you may be liable for the cost incurred to BBTS.

The quiz night is a fantastic way to get to know fellow delegates ahead of the conference opening on Tuesday. This is a free pre-conference event and is not included in your registration fee; there is a cash bar for attendees. Places are limited and we encourage you to book now to avoid disappointment later.

Conference Dinner & Awards Ceremony

The BBTS 2026 social programme culminates with our showpiece Conference Dinner and Awards Ceremony. Delegates, speakers, conference supporters and committee members join as one in this excellent evening of award presentations, delicious food and entertainment. The dress code is smart casual or informal. The cost of the Conference Dinner is not included in your conference registration fee. The Gala Dinner costs £65 + VAT to attend.

If you'd prefer to pay for your Conference Dinner Ticket separately from your registration payment, please don’t book it now. After registering, you’ll receive a link in your confirmation email to add a Dinner Ticket to your registration and pay with a credit or debit card. If you are happy to add the cost of the dinner to your registration fee now, you can proceed with adding your ticket onto your registration.

5K Fun Run

Start your conference day with a refreshing 5K fun run on Wednesday 16 September. A 3K route will also be available. This casual run is a great way to stretch your legs, connect with other attendees, and enjoy some outdoor time before the sessions begin. All fitness levels are welcome—just come along, enjoy the experience, and get ready for a full day of events ahead. We look forward to seeing you there!

By participating in the 5K Fun Run on Wednesday 16 September 2026, you do so at your own risk. By joining the event, you confirm that you are in good health and physically fit to take part. If you have any concerns about your ability to safely participate, it is recommended that you consult with a healthcare provider beforehand. The organisers will not be held liable for any injury, accident, or illness that may occur during the event.
