Thank you for your interest in attending the Faraday Institution Conference taking place at the East Midlands Conference Centre, University of Nottingham on 8 - 10 September 2026.

If you have submitted an abstract using the EOI platform, please use the same login details. Otherwise, please create a new account using your email address to submit your registration. Please note, you require a credit or debit card at the end of the form to complete the purchase.

Note that delegates need to book their own accommodation separately as this is not included in the registration fee. Please visit our conference website for options and to book.

Social Events

Tour of Jubilee Campus, University of Nottingham

Delegates will be offered tours of up to three open-access research and innovation facilities based on Jubilee Campus.

Find out more about each research facility on our website.

The tours will take place on Monday 7 September 2026 between 2pm-5pm. There will be a nominal fee of £10 to confirm your space on the tours. Spaces are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.

Welcome Reception

Catch up with existing colleagues and make new acquaintances at our welcome networking reception held on the first evening of the conference. This event is free to attend but must be pre-booked via the conference registration form. Food and drink will be provided.

Conference Dinner

A must-attend for all registered delegates! Take advantage of more networking opportunities at the pre-dinner drinks reception, followed by a sit-down three-course dinner with fellow attendees. This year’s dinner will take place in the historic and magnificent St Mary’s Church, the City of Nottingham’s largest remaining medieval building. Grade 1 listed and constructed over 500 years ago, the building is an icon of the prosperity that Nottingham enjoyed at the time. Pre-booking to attend the dinner is required and please note a seating plan will be provided with the aim of facilitating networking and making new contacts. Directions and travel information will be provided nearer the time.
